I have held a number of positions in the discipline of nursing in both the private and public sectors of the health care industry (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong). Such positions have included Hospital CEO, Director of Nursing, Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor. Within the realm of learning and teaching I have held such positions as Director of Undergraduate Studies, Director of Post-Graduate Studies and Head of Programs for Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Nursing and Creative Arts Therapy. I have also been a foundation member of two Schools of Nursing and Midiwfery in Australia.
Other professional activities have included invited International Scholar, Invited Keynote Speaker, Member of an Aged Care Consultancy Team to China under the auspices of the Myer Foundation, and Ministerial appointments.
